We will match the lower rate found, for the same hotel, room type, dates and length of stay, number of guests and rate payment requirements (e.g. full prepayment requirement) and restrictions.
If you have not made your booking as yet, but have found a lower rate elsewhere, call the hotel direct and we will match the rate.
You must do the following to claim our Best Internet Rate Guarantee:
Contact Shore Cliff Hotel within 24 hours of booking your room. Upon verification by Shore Cliff Hotel, we will honor that rate for the nights for which the lower rate was found.
Rooms on the third-party website must be publicly available and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification.
If it has been less than 24 hours since booking your original reservation on the Shore Cliff Hotel website and it was not booked within 72 hours of arrival.
Here is how our Best Internet Rate Guarantee works:
Let's assume that you book a two night stay at $199 per room per night. Within 24 hours, you find a rate for the same property of $189 per room per night through a third-party website for the same room type, dates and length of stay, number of guests and rate payment requirements (e.g. full prepayment requirement) and restrictions.
Contact the Shore Cliff Hotel to claim the Best Internet Rate Guarantee.
Multiple nights and rates will be compared for each night separately.
If we verify that indeed your booking with us is confirmed and a lower rate is available and bookable via a third-party website, Shore Cliff Hotel will honor that rate for the night(s) for which the lower rate was found.
Rooms on the third-party website must be publicly available and bookable on the Internet at the time of verification.
Rate comparison will be made net of any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate, and the lower rate found must still be available at the time we validate the claim.
The lower rate must be available for booking with identical specifications of the original request for the same hotel, room type, dates and length of stay, number of guests and rate payment requirements (e.g. full prepayment requirement) and restrictions.
The Shore Cliff Hotel reserves the right to modify or cancel the guarantee at any time without prior notice.
Note: This Guarantee does not apply to:
Opaque or auction sites where the hotel brand and/or the specific hotel is not known until booking is finalized (such as Hotwire and PriceLine).
Packaged rates that include air, car rentals, taxes, service charges, meals, coupons, parking, services, or other services and amenities.
Qualified discount rates including, but not limited to, Government, AAA or Senior Citizen Discounts.
Unpublished, negotiated rates with corporations, travel agencies, groups, associations or other rates that are specifically agreed upon by Shore Cliff Hotel and a specified and limited group, and are not publicly available. (The guarantee applies to single party bookings only.)
Rate disparities solely attributable to fluctuations and/or differences in currency exchange rates.
Rate differences due to rounding to the nearest dollar by some third-party sites.
If changes are made to the reservation after booking the rate is subject to change to the prevailing rate at that time.
